Josiah Gonyer

From a young age, I’ve been fascinated by martial arts through the movies and shows I watched. My martial arts journey began in 2018, and since then, I’ve learned that no matter how much experience I gain, there is always more to learn. One of my favorite parts of being an instructor is watching students grow, discover their strengths, and work through their weaknesses. I enjoy getting to know each student personally and strive to make everyone feel welcomed and valued. I may not always remember every name, but I’ll never forget a face!

Above all, my greatest passion is my faith in Jesus Christ. While karate provides an opportunity to teach discipline, confidence, and perseverance, I believe there is an even greater purpose in helping others grow in their faith. One of my greatest goals is to share the love of Christ with others, especially the next generation, and to encourage my students to grow not only as martial artists but also as individuals who reflect His love and character in their daily lives.
